Venice, The Lone Gondolier

It took me a while to find the right building for this shot. I wanted an old mansion house which had very obviously been highly renovated to demonstrate Venice rebirth alongside an enduring symbol of Venice, hence the lone gondolier. The colours were perfect for the shot. You have no idea how difficult it is to find a lone gondolier!
