The Sphinx Observatory, Jungfraujoch, Switzerland

This science station and visitor platform lies in a saddle between the Jungfrau and Monch mountains at a height of 3,571 metres above sea level. The views from its viewing platforms are stunning. It has two large laboratories, a workshop and astronomical observatory. It is accessed through the mountain by a high speed lift from Jungfraujoch Station.
