Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, Paris

The Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel was built between 1806 and 1808 to commemorate some of Napoleon's military victories. The horse statue on top is a copy of that found above the entrance to St Mark's Basilica in Venice. This was on a taken on a hot but overcast day.
